4. Distinction Between Outsourcing and Provision
Shipping operations and payment processing constitute "business outsourcing" performed on behalf of the Company (Article 27, Paragraph 5 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information). Provision to listing Creators constitutes "third-party provision" based on the buyer's consent. In either case, recipients are contractually required to limit purposes of use and implement safety measures.
5. Provision Abroad (When Applicable)
Some payment processors (e.g., for foreign-issued credit cards) and cloud infrastructure providers maintain data centers abroad (US, Singapore, etc.). Provision to such providers is performed under each country's personal information protection laws and our contracts, ensuring protection equivalent to Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
6. Voluntariness of Consent
This consent is required for product purchases. If you do not consent, you will not be able to purchase products. Functions that do not involve purchase (such as catalog browsing) are available without consent.
